I am pleased to announce the opening of a new program called OpenSchool. (www.openschoolontario.ca)

OpenSchool is a special online program designed to fit the needs of students who are not finding success with traditional classroom instruction or the online instruction offered by the Virtual Learning Centre. Candidates for the program are considered on a case by case basis and enrollment will be limited. OpenSchool will attempt to be flexible in regard to entry and exit points and will allow students some freedom in terms of the pace of the course.

In some cases, OpenSchool students will complete an intensive 6 week program in order to earn a given credit. Such a schedule will demand considerable daily participation and fixed due dates for all work. In other cases, students will require considerably more time to complete a credit and this may extend beyond the first or second semester.
