Grade 10 Literacy Test PDF Print E-mail

April 8th is the established date for the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT).

 

All students who plan on graduating with a diploma from the Virtual Learning Centre are required to pass the OSSLT.

Students are required to write the test in grade 10 and all grade 10 VLC students who have not written the test are required to do so this year.

 

Students in other grades who have come to the VLC after grade 10 or have not, for any reason, written the test are required to do so this year.

 

Over the next 2 days, we will be contacting students and parents about the OSSLT.

OpenSchool is rooted in the excellent instructional design of the Virtual Learning Centre but cognizant of the unique learning needs of some students. OpenSchool is a year-round (September to June) online school of continuous intake and offers accelerated and self-paced programs for selected learners.

 

OpenSchool is designed to meet the following learning needs:

  • accelerated course completion - earn an Ontario High School Credit in 8 weeks
  • self-paced study - complete work in a flexible environment built around your schedule
  • individualized/personalized curriculum - work closely with your teacher to manage course content and assignments that are relevant to your needs

Applications are now being accepted into this exclusive program.
