I would like to take this opportunity to welcome staff, students and parents back after a gloriously warm summer break! We will have a number of new students joining us for the 2010-2011 school year. To these students and their parents, my warmest welcome.

We are all very proud of the program we provide at the VLC and we have demonstrated, year after year, that the majority of our students find success in their courses. A significant number of our students work hard and engage daily with their teachers to achieve high marks and post secondary acceptance at many institutions.

If you have not completed your registration, I would encourage you to do so as soon as possible as I will be making decisions around which courses have sufficient enrollment to run in the coming days.

We have our first official staff meeting on September 1st and we will welcome new staff members at that time as well as map out some key directions for this school year. Classes officially start on September 7th but we are likely to see the bulk of our enrollment entered into the system during the following week. All parents and students are urged to assist us in this regard by registering now.
